The deYoung advertised FREE admission today and "hands on" art activities for the kids. Though I knew Charles would be too young off we went...thinking at least my friend's daughter would enjoy herself! Here's Charles putting his new skills to use...hangin' around!!

There was a line a mile long and tickets to the actual King Tut exhibit were gone...Angelina (who's 5) may not know the difference!

Decorating tips from the ancients
If you go...you must go to the 9th floor observation deck...there's a fantastic 360 degree view of the city. The Golden Gate Bridge is actually behind us but didn't come out...so.....

we just HAD to get up close and personal!

I call this one "GIRiLLA IN THE MIST"
And this candid little shot is so funny...a little too close for comfort? After Angelina diligently shared all her lunch, chased Charles down all over the quad, picked him up, brushed him off...etc etc...he thinks THIS is too close for comfort??? ha ha.

the Tut exhibit ends at the end of March and in May the impressionist from the d'Orsay in Paris are coming apparently b/c the d'Orsay is closing for renovations??
