INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
We went up the street to a friend's house, Lisa and Steve, for a 4th celebration and we're having our good friends, the Whites, over tonight. It's not so much that we have 2 sets of friends but you have to remember...we were heading down the path of life when we were suddenly blessed with Charles soooo...we do sort of have 2 sets of friends. The set with young kids Charles's age and the set with young grand-kids Charles's age. It's fun falling into both categories. It was fun to hang out with them and bring Charles. Something we hadn't done in a long time, if fact, ever I think. LOL

And what's 4th of July without WATERMELON??!
Daddy time! The funniest thing is for those of you who know Steve. He would not face the camera before Charles was born. This photo-phobia is yet another transformation in our lives. It will be good for Charles to grow up with so many photos of his daddy's face as opposed to Caleb and Clay who only have the back of his head. LOL
A little memorial...this is the SAME hat Charles work LAST Independence Day...check it out!

Isn't funny how kids just change everything. I am sure when the older ones were Charles age, you made changes then. And know having a child later in life, they still bring new changes!
