GOOD EATS!

You may know I am the self proclaimed family historian in our family. Well, I have 3 binders full of handwritten letters between my great grandmother and my grandfather chronicling the Great Depression. One thing she writes repeatedly is "eats" referring to meals and mealtime. "We had some good eats." So, I've come to perpetuating it in our family.
Here is Charles enjoying some of his eats.


and forget "don't play or talk with your mouth full."


And ahhh the joy of digital ( a far cry from "digital sucks" my mantra for at least a year as I was dragged into it kicking and screaming the whole way just a couple of short years ago.) Here is Charles just moments ago...when he was supposed to be down for a nap and I heard some unusually playful noises coming from the bedroom.


and by the way....THERE IT IS...his crib...the one Steve slept in, the one Caleb and Clay slept in...the one Steve has been shlepping around with him for 20+ years...yep, don't call OSHA or CPS on us but there he is happy and healthy in Daddy's old crib.

And better late than never...for my followers...here is his 7 mo. old picture. I have time today so
maybe it's time for a preview of his growth.
