Almost Daily Devotional

I found a cute box w/little bible stories, posters and stickers. We read a short story and Charles decorates the poster by coloring and putting stickers on it. I'll get a better picture of it later but the first book is...you got it...the Christmas story. We've been on the 1st booklet since Christmas (hence the "almost" daily ha ha) Charles is just now getting used to the idea that Jesus could have ever been a baby. ha ha

Of course we go to the zoo a lot so it was good place to start for that reason also. Perhaps Noah's ark will be next.

Dante ate a spider

Last week the daycare teacher came us and said at playtime Charles came up to her and said "I ate a spider." They were going to call me but since he wasn't throwing up or aquiring special spidey powers, they decided to let it go. I looked at him right in front of the teacher and said "You ate a spider?!" he immediately said, "NO, Dante ate the spider." It has been fodder for LOTS of conversation this week.

For those of you who don't know, my ex-marine, construction, grew up in the "wilderness" in Idaho husband is TERRIFIED of spiders. ha ha, so the story is actually extra funny b/c it just HAD to be a spider. It couldn't have been any other bug! LOL
