For those of you not on facebook...
Yesterday Charles & were reading books...for close to an hour. It was a wonderful peaceful time. During one of them, the following conversation occurred (moments I wish we had 24 hr surveillance cameras.

Mom: count the trees on this page Charles.
C: one, two, three, four
M: can you count them in Spanish?
C: uno, dos, tres, quatro
M: do you want to count them in French?
C: ya
M: un, deux, trois, quatre
C: Cat? that's not a cat, I'll do it...un, deux, trois, dog

Ok this one is a little long but some of you haven't spent this much time w/Charles in a while. I hope this uploads OK b/c it was too long to email...

The LeFevre blood contains a particularly LOUD gene so I tend to ignore much of the noise around me for as long as I can. On this particular car ride even Clay thought Charles was making a lot of noise so we tuned in to see what all the ruckus was about. Someone has discovered something dogs have known for a long long time...the free wheelin' feeling of riding with one's head out the window!!

Steve had a productive week gleaning a couple of weeks ago. A friend of his was bulldozing his home to rebuild on the same site and told Steve to "get whatever you want" before it was demolished. Steve took kitchen cabinets and remodeled our garage with them. We go new blinds in the kitchen and bathroom, a roto tiller for him (I don't get why that went w/the home except that they'll have a lot less yard and a lot more house in a few months and thus wont need it!) this new eMac which I will spend the rest of the year converting over to, oh! and a new grill. Score honey!!
